What is your policy regarding knitting help?

We offer help based on the “5 minute” rule.

            • If you have a question on your project that you purchased in our shop or have made a mistake that requires less that 5 minutes to repair we will gladly do it at no charge. (For example: A couple of dropped stitches or confirming what a pattern abbreviation means.)
            • If you need help with a project that will involve learning a new skill, or have question on a pattern we are unfamiliar with (It takes us time to read and understand the pattern in order to answer your questions accurately) we ask that you schedule a Private Lesson or come to our Drop in Knit Clinic.
            • If your project requires more than 5 minutes to repair or diagnose we will charge a minimum of $15 per hour. Projects with complicated repairs will need to be left in the store, we cannot guarantee “on the spot” fixing. There may be additional fees for fixes that take more than one hour to complete.
            • If you have questions or need help with a project that you did not buy at our shop, we will gladly help you following the same guidelines above.
            • We do not offer drop in help on demand. If you do drop in, we will gladly asses your needs and direct you to the knit clinic or a private lesson based on our experience and what is appropriate for your project.
